Insurely, a European provider of financial data infrastructure covering insurance, pensions, wealth, and credit, today announced that Insa has launched a consumer AI product built on Insurely's data platform. The product enables individuals to collect and understand all their insurance information in one place, regardless of provider.
Stockholm, 25 August, 2026
Insa uses Insurely's pre-built UI for data collection with BankID, giving end users a seamless and credible consent experience. Through Insurely's infrastructure, Insa gains access to structured insurance data across all provider types — not just home and car — which is then fed into Insa's own AI-driven insurance assistant. The assistant helps users analyse and make sense of their coverage, identifying gaps and opportunities across their full insurance picture.
"The breadth of the data — being able to collect across all providers regardless of insurer — and the credibility that comes with your pre-built UI were the two key reasons we chose Insurely. It gives us credibility with our users, and it gives us the data foundation we need to build something that actually works," says William Dahlgren, founder of Insa.
The data tells a striking story about how fragmented insurance actually is. Insa's users have on average 5.5 insurance policies across up to 34 providers, paying around 12,000 SEK a year in premiums. Through BankID authentication, everything is collected in one place — and more than half of users, 57%, discover at least one potential duplicate, coverage they are already paying for through a credit card or employer. For those affected, the potential savings averages up to 2,100 SEK per year.
Building AI applications in financial services depends on access to consistent and reliable data. Insurance data in Europe is typically fragmented across multiple providers and formats. Insurely has been working since 2018 to aggregate and standardise this data, initially to support financial institutions in managing customer financial information. The same infrastructure is now being used by companies developing AI-based consumer products.
"Insurance is one of the most opaque parts of people's financial lives. The data tells a clear story — too many policies, too many gaps, too much money spent on coverage people already have elsewhere. Our job is to surface that story. Insurely makes it possible," says William Dahlgren.
"Insa is a great example of what becomes possible when AI meets structured, reliable financial data," says Martin J. Gylfe, CEO and co-founder of Insurely. "The consumer use case for insurance intelligence is significant, and Insa is building exactly the kind of product this infrastructure was designed to enable."

About Insa
Insa is a Swedish consumer app that gives people a complete picture of their insurance. Users collect all their policies in one place using BankID, and Insa's AI-driven assistant helps them understand what they are actually covered for — answering questions based on their own policy terms, flagging gaps and overlaps, and showing what they pay and why. Founded in 2025 and based in Stockholm, Insa is driven by the vision that everyone should be able to understand their insurance — what they have, what it covers, and what it costs — at any moment, not just when something goes wrong.
