IDD Compliance

The Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) is a principle from the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) regulating how products and services in the insurance industry are designed and distributed across the EU.

It covers product oversight and governance requirements, information requirements, and business conduct. Being IDD compliant means taking responsibility for consumer outcomes and needs to improve protection standards and harmonize regulation of the insurance market in the EU.
