Insurely expands with PSD2-regulated bank data: next step toward becoming Europe’s leading open finance provider.

-

Insurely is expanding its comprehensive offering in real-time financial data. By adding access to PSD2-regulated account and transaction data, the company takes another step toward becoming the leading open finance partner in Europe.

“Providing access to data covered by the PSD2 directive is an important milestone in our journey. We’re expanding our open finance offering with additional data categories – beyond non-life insurance, occupational pensions, and investments, where we already work with several leading institutions in the Swedish, French, and Baltic markets. With transaction data, we are delivering on our vision to become Europe’s leading open finance provider – and responding to the clear demand we see from the market,” says Martin J. Gylfe, CEO of Insurely.

From fragmented data to a complete picture.

For many financial institutions, limited access to data is a real obstacle – onboarding processes are delayed, credit assessments become less reliable, and personal financial advice loses its accuracy. By now also offering PSD2 data in real time, Insurely enables a more comprehensive and trustworthy view of a customer’s finances.

The extended offering enables:

  • Access to account, balance, and transaction data from thousands of banks across Europe

  • Real-time delivery, standardized and ready for immediate use in business processes

  • Complements Insurely’s existing services, such as verifying accounts for direct debit setup, identifying savings, and streamlining onboarding

  • Compliance with the PSD2 directive, including support for SCA and structured consent management

As the EU’s upcoming Financial Data Access (FIDA) regulation is introduced, demand for broad, secure, and real-time access to financial data is expected to grow significantly in the next few years. By already offering data across all key open finance categories – including PSD2, insurance, pensions, loans, and investments – Insurely is well positioned to meet future requirements and be the preferred partner for banks, insurers, and fintechs in a financial landscape where customers expect better digital services.

A partner for the entire financial journey.

Since the start, Insurely has built solutions that make financial data more accessible – from digitizing the non-life insurance customer journey to enabling real-time insights and transfer processes in pensions and investments. By now also including PSD2 data in its offering, Insurely gives clients access to all essential open finance data categories.

“We see a growing need among both financial institutions and consumers to make faster, more informed decisions based on accurate and up-to-date data. With our expanded offering, we make it easier for banks, insurers, and fintechs to build services based on a complete view of the customer’s financial life – while also empowering consumers with better insight and control over their own finances,” says Martin J. Gylfe.
