Insurely opens European financial data to the AI wave.

-

The Stockholm company is the first in Europe to give AI builders access to real, permissioned financial data from day one.

Stockholm, April 13 2026

Everyone is rushing to build the next generation of financial services on AI. Until now, they've had to do it without access to real consumer data. Insurely is changing that.

Insurely today launches the first permissioned financial data connector for AI development in Europe. Through a partnership with Insurely, companies building AI-powered financial products can now plug real, structured financial data — pension, investments, insurance, and mortgages — directly inside AI assistants. The data is shared with explicit user consent and GDPR-compliant consent flows built in from day one. Claude is the first platform, with more to come.

Insurely's data infrastructure is already used by major European banks, pension providers, and investment platforms.

It is the picks-and-shovels moment for European AI finance.

"Everyone wants to build financial AI. We have built what it needs to actually work," says Lotta Rauséus, COO and Co-founder of Insurely. "Real consumer data, permissioned, available from day one — first in Europe."

The launch comes as the EU's FIDA regulation is being discussed, set to mandate open financial data sharing across member states. Insurely has spent eight years building the integrations, consent infrastructure, and data enrichment that regulation will require — and is now making it available to partners building on AI.

"AI is only as good as the data underneath," says Martin Gylfe, CEO and Co-founder of Insurely. "The companies that win on AI will be the ones that had real data from the start. That's what we give them access to.”
